DarkStar One as #4 in "Top Games of 2006" by The Washington Post
Talk about a great way to end the year!
DarkStar One placed 4th in the "Top Games of 2006" by The Washington Post.
It sits among excellent company, including Oblivion, Hitman: Blood Money, and Company of Heroes.
"A big fan of nonlinear gameplay, I was overjoyed to find this simulation game, which opens the universe for exploration in a spaceship that you can upgrade in different ways, making it anything from a speedy fighter to a lumbering battle cruiser. Darkstar One 1.3 is now available!
Dear Community Members.
The wait is over, the download for Darkstar One version 1.3 is now available.
The actual update corrects miscellaneous bug fixes and includes interface and controlling improvements. There would be more modding-options and random missions.

Darkstar One is nominated by the “German Game Developer Award 2006” in the category “Best German Action Game“.
This annual award is dedicated to the most successful
german and international developer of computer games. The Winner is elected by a specialized jury and the audience. Thus, your opinion is important!

Update 1.3 is in the coming!
Dear Community Members,
The forthcoming DarkStar One Update 1.3 was announced for the end of October.
As the update has not been completed to releasable quality, we regret we have not been able to meet the original date. We would like to apologise for the delay.
We are working hard to finalise the DarkStar One Update 1.3, and expect to have a version which meets our required release standard very soon.
We will keep you informed of any changes as and when they occur.
